I get this error every time when i try to run the profiler in SQL Server 2008

Two reason this can happen :
1) This may be related to W32.Klez.gen@mm or W32.ElKern.gen virus/worms.Run full Antivirus scan and see if that fixes it. 2) Reinstall your .net Framework.
I shall try with this solution and get back if it is working.

Hi Dave
I did a full system scan using Microsoft Fore Front but could not find any virus. I tried installing the .Net Framework 3.5 but failed with a message Setup Error.
is there any other way to detect this problem and rectify.
